READING ALTHUSSER
2nd November 2024
Today, Louis Althusser’s thought maintains its specific relevance prompting various discourses — psychoanalytic, Marxist, philosophical, or political — to reconsider their strategies and reformulate their problems not only theoretically, but also practically. The course of this movement is not smooth, but it is promising both for the development of Althusser’s legacy and the disciplines in question. Therefore, our conference aims at answering the question: What is going on with Althusser’s thought? What does READING ALTHUSSER mean today?
